Frequently Asked Questions
Why do you only use a dark theme?
I'm a developer, and the dark theme just works better for me. It reduces eye strain during long coding sessions, and I find it more comfortable to work with.
I chose purple for good contrast, nothing more and nothing less. Light themes just don't feel as good when I'm spending hours in front of a screen. It's a practical choice, not a philosophical one.
Why did you choose the .xyz domain?
I chose the .xyz domain because I won it at the North Hack Star hackathon. It was part of the prize package, so I decided to use it for my personal site.
If I hadn't won it or had to choose a different domain, I would have gone with either .dev or .in as my go-to options. The .xyz isn't too costly to maintain now that I'm paying for it, and it has a nice tech-oriented feel to it.
What do the colored dots above each section mean?
The colored indicators are my creative way to quickly show which audience a particular section is meant for:
- Green represents content for the general public - no technical knowledge required
- Yellow indicates content for startups, marking domain knowledge - some domain knowledge required
- Red highlights content specifically for software developers - technical content ahead
I created this system to help visitors quickly identify which content is most relevant to them, making information easier to navigate.
